All of the Cray Elementals have been shown for Fighter's Collection 2017. The first one is 'Snow Element, Valancher', a new support card for Legions and 10000 base Powered Vanguards. Its first skill is “[ACT](VC)[1/Turn]:[Counter Blast (1)] If you have a heart card with [Power] of 10000 or less, draw a card, and this unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.” This compliments his second skill, being an on-hit ability, which is “[AUTO](VC):When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, if you have a heart card with [Power] of 10000 or less, choose up to one heal trigger from your drop zone, and put it into your hand.” So the Power buff from the first skill ends up helping the chance of getting the Heal, allowing for a G Guardian next turn, and having the chance to get two extra cards in hand through the Stride's skill is always very nice. And of course, the last skill is a continuous where it's classed as being from all Clans and Nations.
The second Elemental is 'Heat Element, Melandru'. Its skill is “[ACT](VC)[1/Turn]:[Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] Until end of turn, this unit gets "[AUTO](VC):When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, choose one of your rear-guards, and it gets [Power]+5000 for each face up card in your G zone until end of turn."” Targetting a 'Silent Tom' clone would start to make it very tricky for your opponent to guard, and the G flip in the main phase does actually help. We have heard news that the Strides for the Fighter's Collection with have Generation Break 8, so the flip means you'll get closer to that goal without having to hit your opponent, which is also the reason why the G Guardians of this set have spiked in usefulness due to their G Guardian flip.
And lastly for Cray Elementals is 'Air Element, Luctorm' who is an 'Agleam' clone, so she allows you to draw and drop on Guarding. This does work nicely for Shadow Paladin to get ritual and Granblue to get useful attackers in the Drop Zone, while hopefully drawing into more defensive cards.
'Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Advance Guard Dragon' is the G Guardian for Kagero. He has “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Soul Blast (1) & Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's [Rest] grade 1 or less rear-guards, and retire it.” This means you can get rid of the Boosting unit of the column that is attacking you, or you can get rid of annoying units like 'Laurel'. There is also the chance that they are attacking you with a Grade 1 unit, which means he then starts to work similar to 'Denial Griffin'. The Heal for Kagero is 'Positive Dracokid' who has the Soul Blast to Counter Charge ability.
'Kinesis Megatrick, Coulthard' is the G Guardian for Pale Moon. He has “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), if the number of different grades in your soul is four or more, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+15000 until end of that battle.” This is very nice for most builds of Pale Moon. For 'Harri' decks you will need to pay full attention to what you are Soul Blasting to make sure you can pull off this guy's effect. The Heal trigger, 'Psycho Magician, Coulthard', works really well with this card as it goes into the Soul when G Guarding with 'Coulthard', so it guarantees you will have that Grade 0 in your Soul.
For Granblue, we have 'Diabolist of Invitation, Negronola'. Her skill is “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Soul Blast (1) & Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose two cards with different grades from your drop zone, and you may call them to (GC).” As you call them to GC and not move, you can use Perfect Guards in this instance. Even without Perfect Guards you can easily get up to at least 30k Shield with this skill. The Heal for Granblue is 'Bernard the Ghostie', who has the drop draw ability.
'Holy Beast, Divine Maskgal' is the last of the G Guardians for this week and is for Royal Paladin. It has “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), if you have a rear-guard in your front row, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+10000 until end of that battle.” So this will mostly be good for 'Sanctuary Guard' builds as they haven't had much going for them in terms of G Guardians. The Heal for Royal Paladin is 'Maskgal' who has the drop draw ability.
