CFV Weekly Update 31st March, 2017

'Great Flash, Iseult', the G Guardian for the Aichi Sendou Legend deck, has finally been revealed. Her skill is “[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (GC), if you have a vanguard with "Alfred" or "Blaster" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 for each of your rear-guards until end of that battle.” This can get up to a great 40k Shield. A lot of your Counter Blasts may be used up through superior calling, but if you're using 'Alfred' you'll at least have 'Scion Rider' to help you Counter Charge.

'Blaster Blade Exceed' has also been shown to us finally. His first skill is “[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] When your G unit with "Saver" in its card name Stride during your turn, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one card with "Blaster Blade" in its card name, reveal it, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.” This works really well as 'Blaster Blade' is a big combo piece for the deck. The skill is also not wasted if you have a full field because it goes to you hand which is very uncommon for Royal Paladin. His second skill is “[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (VC) or (RC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's grade 1 or greater rear-guards, and retire it.” This is really nice as it makes him flexible to put in many Royal Paladin decks for a fairly cheap Retire skill.

We have four more Heals with two different skills. We have two with the Counter Charge ability, 'Demise Lit by Light Carina' for link Joker, and 'Meditate Dracokid' for Narukami. Then the other two are the ones that put a card from your drop zone to your deck, and they are 'Time-Carving Maiden, Uluru' for Gear Chronicle, and 'Cherry & Blossom' for Neo Nectar.

The Link Joker G Guardian for Fighter's Collection is 'Demise Lit by Darkness, Lacus Carina'. She has “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to three of your rear-guards, lock them, your opponent chooses a unit in his or her back row for each card that was locked, and locks it.” Not only does it stop your opponent's boosters, but the turn after will be great for striding 'Trans-else Messiah'.

For Narukami the G Guardian is 'Sky Guardian Supreme Dragon, Impede Dragon'. “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, your opponent chooses one of his or her rear-guards, retires it, binds it face up, if the number of rear-guards your opponent has is two or more than yours, your opponent chooses one of his or her rear-guards, and retires it.” This will be good for setting up 'VMAX' and punishing clans with big fields.

'Far Away Time Maiden, Uluru' is Gear Chronicle's G Guardian. She has “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 for each face up card in your G zone until end of that battle.” This can get to an incredibly strong amount if you use a lot of G flipping Strides and the longer the game goes on for the better she'll get.

Lastly we have 'Flower Princess of Cherries, Coschellina' for Neo Nectar. She has “[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down G guardian from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, until end of that battle, this unit gets [Shield]+5000, choose up to one card from your hand, call it to (RC), and if the number of your units with the same card name as the called unit is two or more, this unit gets [Shield]+10000.” I feel like this should have acquired more Shield. Though with 'Odette' you can give your Vanguard +4000 Power until the end of the turn which should help you a lot against multiattacking decks.
